Scots Hoose is the new hame for creativity in Scots.

It is a free online resource for children, young folk and new Scots writers and artists to inspire and support creative writing in the Scots language.

The project is led by writer and teacher, Matthew Fitt, who has taught Scots writing in schools, libraries and writers' groups all over Scotland and has published more than twenty books in Scots.

The Scots Hoose project has already worked with pupils in schools in twenty six local authorities. The project has encouraged over 600 children and young people to be creative in Scots.

It has worked in partnership with Scottish Book Trust, Eli Fechlie of Lyra Theatre, Scots music specialist Sam Gates and Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland through the Scottish Storytelling Centre.

Scots Hoose has also collaborated with young artists like singers Ryan Hughes and Amy Lord and the actor Rebekkah Lumsden through the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Scots Hoose is funded the Scottish Government.
